we stayed for 2 nights in the chalet and it was super cozy. the food was amazin, really well priced, and honestly one of the best we’ve had. the staff were so friendly and helped us with everything we needed, even sorted out a bed issue right away. also, the location was great, not too far from whitby and close to nice cycling routes. breakfast was just perfect with lots of choices.
the shower was a bit small for us and we found it a little noisy in the morning. wifi was also pretty weak in our room.

Perfect location for exploring!
We stayed one night in a chalet and loved the spot! It's right on the cinder path, making walks to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay super easy. The bar area was nice for a chill drink after hiking. Just wish the Wi-Fi was better in our room. it kept dropping, which was a bit annoying.

Stayed with a group of friends and had a blast! We loved exploring local spots like the nearby beach and the historic Abbey. It was also comforting knowing there were affordable options for the kids. The staff were friendly, and breakfast had plenty of tasty options. Just a heads up, the rooms might be basic, but it’s a cozy spot to unwind after a day of fun.
Sharing just one shower and toilet among many was tricky, particularly late at night. It would've been nice to have better bathroom facilities.
